The federal government must seek clarification in the Bangladesh High Commission in New Delhi on artist Rashid Ahmed and the daughter-in-law who languished within an Indian jail for many eight years, stated a Bangladeshi daily, seeking rehab on their behalf.
An editorial within the Daily Star on Wednesday stated: "We've no words to convey our utter shock in the way artist Rashid Ahmed and the daughter-in-law Nurun Nahar experienced within an Indian jail without trial for many eight years."
